I’ve been a James D. Prescott fan since the release of Genesis Conspiracy. His work is highly imaginative, extremely well written and totally unpredictable. As sad as it is that this series has come to an end, the good news is that Mr. Prescott is, hopefully, working on another series to entertain his fans.As fond as I am of Jack and Mia, who I’d love to see return in another series one day, I have to admit that for me, it was Anna who really shone throughout this book. It takes a great talent to being a non-human character to life like that but Mr. Prescott does it in a totally believable style. Many thought provoking questions are raised through the course of this series and hard science and science fiction are blended in such a way as to challenge the reader while also providing a good, action packed story. This is one of the best series I’ve rea din a while and I’m a prodigious reader.Hopefully the wait for the next book or series from James D. Prescott won’t be too far away!

I enjoyed this series of books, but the third one feels like it suffers a little bit from pacing issues, feeling like the end is rushed. I was still kind of wondering where the book was going until about 90% of the way through, but I did enjoy the ending. I wouldn't call it a predictable ending, but there were elements brought in that I thought could have been woven into the story a little sooner to build suspense. On the Kindle front, it looks like we may have gotten a pre-production version of the book. There are a couple of places where there's what appears to be a margin note to someone called Gary, and a few misspellings that I noticed. Should definitely be corrected.

I enjoyed the first two books & couldn't wait to see how Jack & Mia would cope. The star of book three was Anna - out-shining the human elements. I wished to know more about the Caretaker. While this book wasn't as shocking as the others, it still presented a good ending. The eternal questions remain ... Why am I here, where am I going, who is God or the creator?

I found Mr. Prescott writing very creative and imaginative. My mind's eye found the environment and characters so well detailed. It is amazing how some authors have the talent to tell a story in a way to hold the readers attention and still create a unexpected turn of events. He has touch on the constant question that is so much on everyone's mind, Where did we come from?, Who is God and/or the creator?, Is there something hidden in our DNA coding to make us curious for the need to explore the unknown space?

The wonderful thing about a very good story is not so much the end, but the next thing. The next thing is what you do with the end.Our ability to think and dream gives us everything we need to appreciate all we have been given. What a ride!

First was fantastic, second a small step back, and this one feels like it was written by a different person. Poorly developed new stories, hanging chads, and abrupt wind down gave feeling of a book someone just wanted to be finished writing. That was fine, I could not wait for it to end. Sorry, I wanted it to be great!

I still liked the developments with Ann'a character. This last book was interesting however I found it very predictable as he story went on. Almost like viewing a movie on television. I enjoyed book two a whole lot more. Nice ending. Very interesting. will look for more books by the same writer.

I was sorry the book ended. This author has a back to keep you glued to the story. I Loved the series. I will check his other books and probably buy them too. Great Job James D Prescot.
